Ty Harris brings 31 years of fire service experience to theJacob Green & Associates team, including six years with the Redlands FireDepartment and 25 years with the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District. During hiscareer, he served five years as Deputy Chief of Administration, overseeingrecruitment, promotions, training, apparatus, professional development, andcitywide department development initiatives. He worked extensively with HumanResources to improve recruitment and retention practices and policies, bringingvaluable experience in organizational leadership and workforce development.

Ty also served as Project Manager for the construction of a$12 million fire station and the development of a 9/11 Memorial Park featuringartifacts from all three attack sites. His background includes assignments inthe Training Division and Burn Cadre, as well as service as Second VicePresident of the Firefighter Association. He brings a strong understanding offire service administration, labor relations, and the importance of developingeffective leadership teams. Passionate about leadership and team development,Ty is committed to helping organizations strengthen their people andorganizational culture.

Ty holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration fromCalifornia State University, San Bernardino.

Outside of work, Ty enjoys hiking, backpacking, reading,cooking and riding and racing his bike.
