Darryl Polk is a veteran public service leader, educator, and speaker with over 35 years of experience leading teams in public safety and information technology, including having served on Police Command Staff for the City of Ontario, the first Chief Innovation Officer for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, and the Chief Technology Officer for the County of Riverside, California. Darryl is a graduate of Villanova University with a master’s in public administration, a Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO), and is currently completing his PhD in Philosophy of Computer Sciences. In his current role with Public Technology Institute (PTI), Darryl develops and instructs educational programs for public sector leaders, including the flagship CGCIO course as an adjunct professor with Rutgers University.
